Basic requirements:

1. Primary applicant is under 55 years old (with exceptions) and has at least 3 years of business or investment experience.

 

2. Primary applicant had net assets of at least AUD 2.5 million in the previous 2 financial years (can be with spouse/de facto partner together).

​

3. For at least 1 of the last 5 financial years:

• primary applicant maintained direct involvement in managing a qualifying business, and owned at least 10% of the total value of the business (can be with spouse/de facto partner together); or

• primary applicant maintained direct involvement in managing eligible investments (e.g. rental properties, stocks/bonds/funds, fixed deposits, gold/silver etc.) with a total net value of at least AUD 2.5 million (can be with spouse/de facto partner together).

 

4. Willing to invest AUD 2.5 million in Australian funds for at least 5 years, and this AUD 2.5 million should have been accumulated from the applicant’s investment activities.

5. Primary applicant (or spouse/de facto partner) is willing to reside in Australia for 2 years (730 days) within 3 years. During this period, dependent children may enjoy free public schooling. The family can apply for permanent residency after 3 years.

 

Each Australian state/territory government has limited annual quota for this scheme.

• 主申請人直接參與管理符合條件的投資 (如出租物業、股票/債券/基金、定期存款、黃金/白銀等), 總凈值最少為250萬澳元 (可與配偶/伴侶共同擁有).

 

4. 願意投資250萬澳元在澳洲基金最少5年, 而此250萬澳元須為累計投資所得.

 

5. 主申請人(或配偶/伴侶)願意在3年裏, 在澳洲居住2年(730日). 居住期間, 小孩或可享免費教育. 3年後全家可申請為永久居民.
